Bangla triphone HMM based word recognition
Mohammad Hasan,Foyzul Hassan,Gazi Md. Moshfiqul Islam,Manoj Banik,Mohammed Rokibul Alam Kotwal,Sharif Mohammad Musfiqur Rahman,Ghulam Muhammad,Nurul Huda Mohammad +7 more
TL;DR: A medium size Bangla speech corpus is prepared and it is shown that MFCC-based method of 39 dimensions provides a higher word correct rate (WCR) and word accuracy (WA) than the other methods investigated.
Book ChapterDOI
Multiclass MI-Task Classification Using Logistic Regression and Filter Bank Common Spatial Patterns
Md. Mahmudul Haque Joy,Mohammad Hasan,Abu Saleh Musa Miah,Abir Ahmed,Sadia Anwar Tohfa,Md. Farukul Islam Bhuaiyan,Ashrafun Zannat,Mamunur Rashid +7 more
TL;DR: This paper proposed a classification technique of EEG motor imagery signals using Logistic regression and feature extraction algorithm using filter bank common spatial pattern (FBCSP), and it is shown that proposed method is promising.
Book ChapterDOI
Optimizing Complexity of Quick Sort
TL;DR: The algorithm presented here has profound implications for future studies of handling worst-case complexity and may one day help to solve this occurrence of the fastest sorting method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Inhibition/Enhancement Network Based ASR using Multiple DPF Extractors
Foyzul Hassan,Mohammed Rokibul Alam Kotwal,Mohammad Hasan,Ghulam Muhammad,Mohammad Nurul Huda +4 more
TL;DR: It is observed that the In/En network plays a significant role on the improvement ofphoneme recognition performance and reduces required number of mixture components in Hidden Markov Models (HMMs).
Book ChapterDOI
A New Approach to Solve Job Sequencing Problem Using Dynamic Programming with Reduced Time Complexity
TL;DR: The sorting algorithm is nullified using dynamic programming approach in the proposed algorithm to reduce the complexity of this classical algorithm and a proper algorithm has been developed.
