Journal ArticleDOI

Solid phase extraction of trace amounts of Ag, Cd, Cu, and Zn in environmental samples using magnetic nanoparticles coated by 3-(trimethoxysilyl)-1-propantiol and modified with 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole and their determination by ICP-OES

TL;DR: A fast, sensitive, and simple method using magnetic nanoparticles coated by 3-(trimethoxysilyl)-1-propantiol and modified with 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole, as an adsorbent has been successfully developed for extraction, preconcentration, and determination of trace amounts of Ag, Cd, Cu, and Zn from environmental samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization and application of novel lead imprinted polymer nanoparticles as a high selective electrochemical sensor for ultra-trace determination of lead ions in complex matrixes

TL;DR: In this article, a lead-II-selective electrode based on the use of lead imprinted polymer nanoparticles (IP-NPs) was designed for the differential pulse voltammetry determination of lead ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid phase extraction of copper (II) by sorption on octadecyl silica membrane disk modified with a new Schiff base and determination with atomic absorption spectrometry

TL;DR: In this article, a simple, selective and reliable method for rapid extraction and determination of trace amounts of Cu (II) ions from aqueous samples using octadecyl-bonded silica membrane disks modified with bis-(3-methoxy salicylaldehyde)-1,6-diaminohexane and flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid phase extraction of trace amounts of silver, cadmium, copper, mercury, and lead in various food samples based on ethylene glycol bis-mercaptoacetate modified 3-(trimethoxysilyl)-1-propanethiol coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles

TL;DR: The magnetic solid phase extraction method was used for determination of target metal ions in rice, canned tuna fish, and tea leaves and various factors affecting the extraction and desorption of targetMetal ions were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Silver(I)-selective membrane electrode based on hexathia-18-crown-6

TL;DR: A PVC membrane electrode for Ag+ ions based on hexathia-18-crown-6 as membrane carrier was prepared in this article, which exhibits a Nernstian response for silver ions over a wide concentration range (3.2×10−3−6.M) with a slope of 59mV decade−1.
