Chromium adsorption from aqueous solution using novel green nanocomposite: Adsorbent characterization, isotherm, kinetic and thermodynamic investigation
Rasoul Khosravi,Gholamreza Moussavi,Mohammad Taghi Ghaneian,Mohammad Hassan Ehrampoush,Behnam Barikbin,Ali Ebrahimi,Gholamreza Sharifzadeh +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Peganum harmala seed was used as a precursor for the preparation of powdered activated carbon (PAC), and the plant extract was used for the synthesis of zero-valent iron nanoparticles (GnZVI).
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterizations of FeNi3@SiO2@TiO2 nanocomposite and its application in photo- catalytic degradation of tetracycline in simulated wastewater
Maryam Khodadadi,Mohammad Hassan Ehrampoush,Mohammad Taghi Ghaneian,Ali Allahresani,A H Mahvi +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used FeNi 3 @SiO 2 @TiO 2, a photo-catalyst for tracycline degradation, in a batch reactor and the effects of pH, contact time, initial concentration and nanocomposite dose were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spatial analysis and health risk assessment of heavy metals concentration in drinking water resources
TL;DR: Investigation of concentration of the heavy metals including As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn in water supply wells and 5 water reservoirs within the cities Ardakan, Meibod, Abarkouh, Bafgh, and Bahabad indicated high carcinogenic risk compared to similar standards and studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of cadmium (II) from simulated wastewater by ion flotation technique
Mohammad Hossein Salmani,Mojtaba Davoodi,Mohammad Hassan Ehrampoush,Mohammad Taghi Ghaneian,Mohammad Hossein Fallahzadah +4 more
TL;DR: The obtained results were promising, as both cadmium and collector were effectively removed from wastewater, suggesting that the application of ion flotation for metal ions removal from effluents seems to be efficient.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electro-Fenton approach for highly efficient degradation of the herbicide 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid from agricultural wastewater: Process optimization, kinetic and mechanism
TL;DR: In this paper, a treatment process based on the electro-Fenton (EF) technique was developed for efficient removal of 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid from agricultural wastewater.
