Study the influence of using guide vanes blades on the performance of cross-flow wind turbine

TL;DR: In this article, the best configuration between guide vanes and cross-flow vertical axis wind turbine was investigated to determine the turbine with the highest power coefficient, which increased around 59% of the turbine's performance using GV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of tilt angle and the number of guide vane blades towards the Savonius rotor performance

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the guide vanes on the Savonius rotor performance was investigated under different tilt angles, i.e., 0°, 20°, 40°, and 60°.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development and Validation of a Vibration-Based Virtual Sensor for Real-Time Monitoring NOx Emissions of a Diesel Engine

TL;DR: In this paper , a vibration-based virtual NOx sensor is developed based on these critical relationships for real-time NOx monitoring, which is proven to meet the accuracy requirement of vehicle emission monitoring for both steady-state and transient conditions and has a better frequency response compared to the emission measurement system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative study on the joining performance of TiH2 and ZrH2 modified AgCu28 brazing alloys with pulsed laser welding-brazing

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the addition of elemental Zr to improve the connection effect of alloys and showed that Zr-free brazing alloys inhibited the overproduction of the hard-brittle phase of Cu3Ti and formed other intermetallic compounds such as AgZr2 and Cu10Zr7, which were beneficial to the metallurgical joint.

Investigation of the wear behavior of abrasive grits in a dry machining Inconel 718 narrow-deep-groove with a single-layer cubic boron nitride grinding wheel

TL;DR: In this paper, the wear behavior of a single-layer electroplated cubic boron nitride (cBN) grinding wheel was investigated in a creep feed grinding Inconel 718 narrow-deep-groove with a width of 2 mm.
