TL;DR: Adiponectin levels were inversely correlated with anthropometric parameters of obesity and insulin resistance and directly correlated with HDL levels, however, no relationship with subclinical atherosclerosis was demonstrated in this study.

TL;DR: Text messaging intervention improved ADA and resulted in an increase in reporting ADA in this hypertensive Latino population at 6‐month follow‐up, and this approach could become an effective tool to overcome poor medication adherence in the community.
