Characterization of LaCoO3 powders obtained by water-based sol–gel method with citric acid
Luminita Predoana,Barbara Malič,Marija Kosec,Mariana Carata,Monica Caldararu,Maria Zaharescu +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a sol-gel method was used to synthesize perovskite LaCoO3 powders from metal nitrates or acetates, and citric acid as the chelating agent at room temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI
Acid–base properties of supported gallium oxide catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, the acid-base properties of supported gallium oxide catalysts have been investigated by microcalorimetry and FTIR spectroscopy of pyridine (acidity) and CO 2 (basicity) adsorption.
Journal ArticleDOI
Boron nitride: A high potential support for combustion catalysts
G. Postole,G. Postole,Monica Caldararu,Niculae I. Ionescu,Bernard Bonnetot,Aline Auroux,C. Guimon +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, high surface area boron nitride powders were obtained using polytrichoroborazine, pTCB, as precursor, leading to a surface area higher than 150m2/g.
Journal ArticleDOI
Is BN an appropriate support for metal oxide catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, Boron nitride supported metal oxide (In 2 O 3, Ga 2 O3 and SnO 2 ) catalysts were prepared using a sol-gel method using adsorption microcalorimetry measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrical conductivity of γ-Al2O3 at atmospheric pressure under dehydrating/hydrating conditions
Monica Caldararu,Georgeta Postole,Cristian Hornoiu,Veronica Bratan,M. Dragan,Niculae I. Ionescu +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, changes of electrical conductance and capacity of γ-Al 2 O 3 were studied in situ during dehydration/rehydration in gas flow, and the measurements were performed at atmospheric pressure by following a standard protocol of experiments, and were coupled with simultaneous monitoring of the inlet/effluent gas.
