A New Model for Elliptic Fibrations with a Rank One Mordell-Weil Group: I. Singular Fibers and Semi-Stable Degenerations
TL;DR: In this paper, a model for elliptic fibrations endowed with a Mordell-Weil group of rank one was introduced, which is called Q$_7(mathscr{L,\mathscrsr{S})$ model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Euler Characteristics of Crepant Resolutions of Weierstrass Models
TL;DR: In this article, the pushforward of analytic functions of the exceptional divisor of a blowup of a projective variety along a smooth complete intersection with normal crossing is computed based on Jacobi's identity.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Geometry of the SU(2) × G 2 -model
Mboyo Esole,Monica Jinwoo Kang +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors study elliptic fibrations that geometrically engineer an SU(2) ×G2 gauge theory realized by a Weierstrass model for the collision III+I +I 0676 *
Journal ArticleDOI
The Geometry of the SU(2)$\times$ G$_2$-model
Mboyo Esole,Monica Jinwoo Kang +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied elliptic fibrations that geometrically engineer an SU(2)$\times$ G$_2$ gauge theory realized by Weierstrass model for the collision III+$\text{I}_0^{* \text{ns}}.

Mordell-Weil Torsion, Anomalies, and Phase Transitions
TL;DR: In this paper, a non-trivial Mordell-Weil group was introduced to change the structure of the Coulomb phases of a five-dimensional gauge theory from an M-theory compactified on an elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau threefolds with a I$_2$+I$_4$ collision of singularities.
