Impact of plant products on innate and adaptive immune system of cultured finfish and shellfish

TL;DR: The present review describes the role of medicinal herbs and their products on innate and adaptive immune response of finfish and shellfish and Administration of herbal extracts or their products at various concentrations through oral (diet) or injection route enhance the innate and adaptation immune response.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solubilization of insoluble inorganic phosphates by a novel salt- and pH-tolerant Pantoea agglomerans R-42 isolated from soybean rhizosphere.

TL;DR: P. agglomerans R-42 showed resistance against different environmental stresses like 5-45 degrees C temperature, 1-5% salt concentration and 3-11 pH range and solubilization was highest from CaHPO4, hydroxyapatite and Ca3(PO4)2, however, the strain produced soluble phosphate to the culture broth with the concentrations of 28 mg/l against FePO4, and 19 mg/ l against AlPO4.
Journal ArticleDOI

Copper oxide nanomaterials: Synthesis, characterization and structure-specific antibacterial performance

TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation of differently shaped copper oxide nanomaterials (CuO NMs) using simple, reproducible wet chemical and hydrothermal approach was discussed, and the influence of polyethylene glycol on the morphological control was also studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Herbal supplementation diets on hematology and innate immunity in goldfish against Aeromonas hydrophila.

TL;DR: The results indicate that 400 or 800 mg kg(-1) of mixed herbal supplementation feeds were restored the altered hematological parameters and triggering the innate immune system of goldfish against A. hydrophila.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of probiotics enriched diet on Paralichthys olivaceus infected with lymphocystis disease virus (LCDV).

TL;DR: It is concluded that Lactobacil individually or mixed with Sporolac act as immunostimulants that enhance the innate immune response and disease resistance in lymphocystis disease virus (LCDV) infected olive flounder.
