Multivariate analysis to determine secondary characters in selecting adaptive hybrid corn lines under drought stress

TL;DR: The result of this research showed that the weight of harvested cob was an effective secondary character as a selection criterion along with productivity in selecting adaptive maize genotypes under drought stress.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genetic Parameters and Multivariate Analysis to Determine Secondary Traits in Selecting Wheat Mutant Adaptive on Tropical Lowlands

TL;DR: In this article, the secondary traits of adaptive wheat mutants in the lowlands through the use of genetic parameters and multivariate analysis on the parameters were determined using three field trials conducted in three different regencies, namely, Jeneponto (135 m above sea level (asl), Maros (100 m asl), and Bantaeng (125m asl).
Journal ArticleDOI

Selection of various synthetic Maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes on drought stress condition

TL;DR: It can be concluded that adaptive synthetic maize genotypes that are provided a potential yield of ≥ 6.0 t.ha−1 in environmental stresses were Syn 2-15, and Syn2-16.
Journal ArticleDOI

The isolation, characterization endophytic bacteria on indole-3-acetic acid-producing and phosphate solubilizing from roots of local rice plant Kamba in Bada Valley, Central Sulawesi

TL;DR: Sudewi et al. as discussed by the authors found endophytic bacteria that have the potential to produce IAA and phosphate solvents through morphological and physiological characterization (Gram reaction test with 3% KOH, catalase test, hypersensitivity reaction and hemolysis activity), screening of IAA-producing bacteria qualitative and quantitative, phosphate dissolution activity on Pikovskaya medium, and quantitative using a spectrophotometer.
