TL;DR: In this paper , the authors reveal the learning of patterns and cultural influences of perceptive mental processes in Angkola language with a Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) approach.
Abstract: This article aims to reveal the learning of patterns and cultural influences of perceptive mental processes in Angkola language with a Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) approach. This is because learning research tends to offer research related to language learning models and language learning media from various perspectives. Meanwhile, the content of the learning is still limited to be analyzed in certain grammar. This research offers perceptive mental process learning based on one of the regional languages in Indonesia, namely Angkola language which needs to be raised considering that this language still includes native speakers. Thus, the Angkola language must be included in the list of documentation of languages and oral traditions that should be preserved in order to maintain the wealth of the archipelago. The method used is descriptive qualitative with transitivity analysis. The results of the analysis show that the Angkola community in expressing perceptive mental processes produces two patterns, one sequential pattern and one non-sequential pattern. However, for non-sequential patterns, after the process is not followed by sensing but is followed by a phenomenon then sensing afterwards. The uniqueness and symptoms of this strangeness are found in the study of perceptive mental processes in the Angkola language. Therefore, according to the presentation of the analysis, it can be proven the consistency, prevalence and acceptance of this pattern in transitivity in the Angkola language. Keywords: Angkola Language, Mental Process Language, Systemic Functional Linguistics

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors found that teachers who carry out Komering cultural local content are still drawn from general instructors or do not have backgrounds in arts and culture education, thus, the development of the local content curriculum in schools has not been founded on a scientific review of the curriculum.
Abstract: The Komering cultural local content curriculum was adopted at Muhammadiyah Primary School in 2021. The school is using the Komering cultural local content curriculum to help pupils comprehend local culture. However, the development of the local content curriculum in schools has not been founded on a scientific review of the curriculum, thus, teachers who carry out Komering cultural local content are still drawn from general instructors or do not have backgrounds in arts and culture education. As a result, the implementation is incomplete. The goal of this research was to find out what role educators had in the implementation of the Komering Culture Local Content Curriculum at Muhammadiyah Primary School. Local content instructors' grasp of Komering cultural knowledge, the learning process for Komering culture local content, and assessment of learning results. The method utilised is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The instrument employed observation and interviews, which were then evaluated using descriptive qualitative methods using Miles and Huberman’s theory. The findings revealed that the basic concerns of schools in implementing the Komering culture local content curriculum were based on the vision and goal of the local government, which conveyed regional culture and taught students more about Komering culture. Teachers back them as curriculum implementers for commercial, and cultural content in their own communities, and principals recognise them as leaders.

TL;DR: In this paper , a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design was used to analyze the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning in improving the understanding of statistical concepts.
Abstract: Every student in higher education will learn about statistics. Statistics is knowledge about data collection, data classification, presentation, processing, drawing conclusions, and making decisions based on certain problems. Because statistics are related to sample data, it is necessary the ability to interpret, understand, and make good decisions on the data. Project-Based Learning is very suitable to be applied to solve complex problems in a creative, collaborative, and independent way like in this course. This research is to analyze the effectiveness of PjBL learning in improving the understanding of statistical concepts. The research subjects were seventy students who took statistics courses at the Mathematics Education Study Program, Bengkulu University in 2021. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument was a test sheet for understanding the concept of statistics, including the ability to choose statistical analysis, the ability to process data, and the ability to interpret the results. The data were analyzed using the t-paired sample test and the N-Gain score. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of Project-Based Learning is quite effective in increasing students' understanding of concepts in statistics courses at Bengkulu University, especially in the mathematics education study program. Students' understanding of concepts after the PjBL model is applied is higher than before PjBL is applied.
