Emergence and the spread of the F200Y benzimidazole resistance mutation in Haemonchus contortus and Haemonchus placei from buffalo and cattle

TL;DR: Results provide the first clear genetic evidence for the spread of benzimidazoles resistance-conferring mutations to multiple different locations from a single emergence in H. contortus; while supporting previous small ruminant-based observations of multiple emergence of resistance mutations in the parasite.
Journal ArticleDOI

Seroprevalence of Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever among three selected risk human groups in disease-endemic region of Pakistan

Antibodies response of broilers to locally prepared oil based mycoplasma gallisepticum vaccine

TL;DR: It is concluded that oil based MG vaccine induces protective level of anti -MG-ELISA antibodies in broilers that persist for more than 45 days post priming.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of beta-lactams resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolates from bovine mastitis and its zoonotic implications.

TL;DR: The high degree of genetic relatedness among blaZ and mecA genes in bovine and human S. aureus isolates from same farm suggests the potential transfer of antimicrobial resistance genes between buffaloes and milkers, highlighting the importance of one-health approach to promote global health.
