Journal Article

Elevated serum TNF-alpha levels in normal-weight women with polycystic ovaries or the polycystic ovary syndrome.

TL;DR: Serum TNF-alpha levels were similar in patients with PCOS and with PCO; however, there was no correlation between the T NF-alpha and insulin, glucose and androgen levels in the study.
Journal ArticleDOI

Maternal serum cytokine levels in women with hyperemesis gravidarum in the first trimester of pregnancy.

TL;DR: Levels of TNF-alpha were significantly higher in patients with hyperemesis gravidarum than in healthy pregnant and nonpregnant women, suggesting that T NF-alpha may be involved in the etiology of hyperemicably high levels of cytokine.
Journal ArticleDOI

The association of triple-marker test results with adverse pregnancy outcomes in low-risk pregnancies with healthy newborns.

TL;DR: Serum estriol, AFP or HCG values in triple test results may be associated with development of oligohydramnios, gestational diabetes and macrosomia in women with healthy and normal appearing fetuses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Maternal serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-2 receptor in threatened abortion: a comparison with normal and pathologic pregnancies

TL;DR: In comparison with normal pregnancies, maternal serum IL-2 receptor and TNF-alpha levels were not significantly increased in patients with threatened abortion with good outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI

Insulin resistance and lipid profile in women with polycystic appearing ovaries : Implications with regard to polycystic ovary syndrome

TL;DR: It is confirmed that women with PCO who do not fulfill the criteria for PCOS have abnormal insulin sensitivity and insulin resistance.
