Application of response surface methodology for determining cutting force model in turning of LM6/SiCP metal matrix composite

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of dominant cutting parameters on cutting forces in straight turning of aluminum metal matrix composites under dry cutting condition was evaluated. And the results showed that low cutting forces are associated with the lowest level of depth of cut and the highest level of cutting speed and sensitivity analysis revealed that cutting speed is most significant factor influencing the response variables investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

An experimental study of effect of process parameters in turning of LM6/SiC P metal matrix composite and its prediction using response surface methodology

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of certain cutting variables on surface roughness in plain turning of aluminium alloy (LM6) -SiC p metal matrix composites under dry cutting condition is evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of Blood Group Discrepancy in Healthy Blood Donors at a Tertiary Care Referral Hospital from Eastern India: A Retrospective Study

TL;DR: The prevalence of ABO group discrepancy was 0.12% at the authors' center and the causes of discrepancy were analyzed and resolved using anti-A 1 , anti-H, anti-AB, and other immunohematological tests like antibody screening and identification, saliva inhibition test, adsorption-elution studies.

Barreling of solid composite (Lm6/Sicp) cylinders under uni axial compressive load

TL;DR: In this article, axisymmetric compression tests on solid composite (LM6/SiCp) cylinders under various lubrication conditions and aspect ratio (height/diameter) suggest that the resulting curvatures of the barrels formed fit closely to circular arcs, the radii of which follow a power law with respect to the true axial compressive stress.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental and Simulation Aspects Regarding LM6/Sicp Composite Plastic Deformation under Different Frictional Conditions

TL;DR: In this article, the deformation behavior of solid aluminium alloy (LM6) and silicon carbide metal matrix composite cylinders under axi-symmetric compression over constant aspect ratios using different lubricants were examined.
