Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of NaCl salinity on photosynthesis and dry matter accumulation in developing rice grains

TL;DR: Grain growth was less sensitive to salinity at milking stage, suggesting that the plant is able to escape stress when the duration of salinity is short, as well as suggesting that salinity affects photosynthetic pigments, soluble carbohydrates, and protein differently.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of foliar spray of nutrient solutions on photosynthesis, dry matter accumulation and yield in seawater-stressed rice

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of seawater salinity and foliar application of nutrient solutions on rice in the early tillering stage and early reproductive phase of growth were investigated in a glasshouse.
Journal ArticleDOI

Understanding the properties of fat, oil, and grease and their removal using grease interceptors.

TL;DR: In this article , the physicochemical properties of FOG, including particle size distribution and their removal efficiencies by existing grease interceptors, are discussed, and a critical review discusses the characteristics of effluents, including the particle size distributions generated from automatic dishwashers and handwash sinks.

Phytochemical and pharmacological screening of Zingiber salarkhanii Rahman et Yusuf roots growing in Bangladesh

TL;DR: Rahman et al. as discussed by the authors examined the phytochemistry and evaluated the biological effects of methanolic extracts from a unique ginger family plant (Zingiber salarkhanii Rahman et Yusuf).
