TL;DR: In vitro findings support the flavonoid, naringin, or the furanocoumarin, 6', 7'-dihydroxybergamottin, as being active ingredients, but in vitro findings indicated that neither of these substances made a major contribution to grapefruit juice-drug interactions in humans.
