Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles with Dalbergia spinosa leaves and their applications in biological and catalytic activities

TL;DR: In this article, the phytosynthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by Dalbergia spinosa leaves (DSL) in aqueous extract was investigated, and the results showed that the increase in the initial extract concentration at room temperature increased the mean size and widened the size distribution of the AgNPs, leading to a red shift and broadening the surface plasmon resonance absorption.
Journal ArticleDOI

An efficient synthesis of N-nitrosamines under solvent, metal and acid free conditions using tert-butyl nitrite

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of various N-nitroso compounds from secondary amines using tert-butyl nitrite (TBN) under solvent free conditions is reported, where acid labile protecting groups such as tert-butyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS) and tertbutyloxycarbonyl (Boc) are found to be stable under the standard reaction conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Green synthesis of gold nanoparticles using Curcuma pseudomontana essential oil, its biological activity and cytotoxicity against human ductal breast carcinoma cells T47D

TL;DR: The computational results indicate that there are strong interactions between the phytoconstituents and AuNPs suggesting that this novel synthetic route for AuNps by using EO as reducing agents may be effectively exploited for nonthermal-assisted reactions and one-pot processes of biological applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Green synthesis of gold nanoparticles using Curcuma pseudomontana isolated curcumin: Its characterization, antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti- inflammatory activities

TL;DR: Synthesized curcumin capped nanoparticles (CUR-AuNPs) were stable and evaluated by SEM, HR-TEM, UV–vis and FT-IR spectroscopy and they were spherical in shape, homogenous with an average diameter of 20 nm along with long term stability.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regioselective Nitration of N-Alkyl Anilines using tert-Butyl Nitrite under Mild Condition.

TL;DR: Regioselective ring nitration of N-alkyl anilines is reported using tert-butyl nitrite, providing synthetically useful N-nitroso N-alksyl nitroanilines in excellent yields which can be easily converted into N- Balkyl phenylenediamines and N-ALKyl nitronilines using Zn-AcOH and HCl/MeOH, respectively.
