Journal ArticleDOI

Assessment of noise reduction potential and image quality improvement of a new generation adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction (ASIR-V) in chest CT.

TL;DR: In routine dose, non-enhanced chest CT, ASIR-V shows greater potential in reducing image noise and artefacts and maintaining image sharpness when compared to the recommended level of 40%ASIR algorithm.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Value of 16-cm Wide-Detector Computed Tomography in Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography for Patients With High Heart Rate Variability.

TL;DR: Single-heartbeat free-breathing CCTA can be performed for patients with high HRv using 16-cm wide-detector CT scanner to achieve diagnostic image quality with low radiation dose.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of New Model-Based Iterative Reconstruction on Quantitative Analysis of Airway Tree by Computer-Aided Detection Software in Chest Computed Tomography.

TL;DR: Compared with ASIR, MBIRSTND, and MbiRRP20 from MBIrn algorithm potentially allow the desired airway quantification accuracy to be achieved on the performance of CAD, especially for MBIBRP20.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Role of Estrogen Receptors in Proliferation of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

TL;DR: The results showed that Erβ but not ERɑ can mediate E2 induced cell growth, since siRNA targeting Er β but not Erɑ gene can induce cell cycle arrest at G1 phase by down regulation of cyclinD1 expression, and also cell cycle regulators p21Waf1/Cip1 and p53 were involved in this signaling pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI

Computed Tomography Imaging Characteristics: Potential Indicators of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Mutation in Lung Adenocarcinoma.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the correlation between computed tomography imaging characteristics in lung adnocarcinoma and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations, and calculated the predictive value of these imaging characteristics for EGFR mutation using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve.
