EEG mean power and complexity analysis during complex mental task

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the association between EEG measures (mean power and sample entropy) and complex mental reasoning task (IQ test) and found high cortical activation and increased EEG complexity during IQ test than resting states.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Evaluation of passive polarized stereoscopic 3D display for visual & mental fatigues

TL;DR: It is concluded that passive polarized S3D display technology may not induce visual and/or mental fatigue which may increase the cognitive load and suppress the ERP components.
Journal ArticleDOI

FastEMD–CCA algorithm for unsupervised and fast removal of eyeblink artifacts from electroencephalogram

TL;DR: Analysis proved that the proposed algorithm, FastEMD–CCA, is efficacious in eyeblink artifact removal with an average accuracy, sensitivity, specificity and error rate of 97.9%, 97.65%, 99.22% and 2.1% respectively makes it a feasible solution for applications requiring online removal of eyeblink artifacts.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Effects of stereoscopic 3D display technology on event-related potentials (ERPs)

TL;DR: The results suggest that passive polarized S3D display technology may not induce any effects (cognitive or visual fatigue) which may disturb the ERP components.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Maximising sum rate for two interfering wireless links

TL;DR: This paper considers the problem of maximising the sum rate of two interfering links in Gaussian noise and shows that either both links must operate at maximum power, or one link operates atmaximum power and the other link is switched off.
