TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a method of issuing instructions to an execution unit in a processor, the method comprising identifying in an ordered sequence of instructions a set of instructions for which the order of execution is not critical, and selecting instructions in said set for successive execution on a random basis each time the ordered sequence is executed.
