Abstract: We report the dielectric behaviour of BiFeO3 thin films deposited on Nb doped STO substrate using Pulsed Laser Deposition technique. Frequency dependent real and imaginary dielectric permittivity in the temperature range 20°C to 350°C show good dielectric behaviour exhibited by 100 and 200 nm films.

Abstract: Substitution of monovalent Na+ at La3+ in La1-xNaxMnO3 (LNMO) manganites, synthesized using solid state reaction route, results in ferromagnetic (FM) behavior. Increase in monovalent Na-content in the system leads to reduction in magnetic transition temperature and magnetic moment which has been discussed in the light of structural changes taking place due to the substitution and the structure-property correlations.
