Journal ArticleDOI
Magneto-hydrodynamic thermal convection of Cu–Al 2 O 3 /water hybrid nanofluid saturated with porous media subjected to half-sinusoidal nonuniform heating
TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal efficacy of half-sinusoidal non-uniform heating at different spatial frequencies for a porous natural convection system using Cu-Al2O3/water hybrid nanofluid and magnetic field was examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of heat transfer and pumping power for bottom-heated porous cavity saturated with Cu-water nanofluid
TL;DR: In this article, the analysis of a typical system is demonstrated considering bottom-heating, porous medium and Cu-water nanofluid, and the results reveal that the heat transport of base liquid is greatly influenced by these parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of half-sinusoidal nonuniform heating during MHD thermal convection in Cu–Al 2 O 3 /water hybrid nanofluid saturated with porous media
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate an approach for augmenting heat transfer through porous media subjected to nonuniform heating during the magnetohydrodynamic flow of a hybrid nanofluid of Cu-Al2O3/water.
Journal ArticleDOI
Role of surface undulation during mixed bioconvective nanofluid flow in porous media in presence of oxytactic bacteria and magnetic fields
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) mixed bioconvection with oxytactic microorganisms suspended in copper-water nanofluid.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magneto-hydrodynamic Marangoni flow in bottom-heated lid-driven cavity
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented fluid and heat flow in an open square cavity where the free, forced and Marangoni convection are taking place simultaneously in presence of external magnetic field.
