Immunohistochemical staining as supportive diagnostic tool for pseudomyxoma peritonei arising from intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm: A report of two cases and literature review.
Atsuko Kataoka,Kyoji Ito,Nobuyuki Takemura,Fuyuki Inagaki,Fuminori Mihara,Yoshimasa Gohda,Tomomichi Kiyomatsu,Kazuhiko Yamada,Naoki Kojima,Toru Igari,Mitsunori Yamakawa,Hideaki Yano,Norihiro Kokudo +12 more
TL;DR: Investigating the usefulness of immunohistochemical staining for the diagnosis of the primary lesion of PMP arising from an intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the pancreas in patients with rare condition revealed that the comparison of the immunostaining pattern ofPMP with the representative immunostained pattern of the candidate primary lesions is helpful.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diagnosis of celiac artery stenosis using multidetector computed tomography and evaluation of the collateral arteries within the mesopancreas of patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy
Kyoji Ito,Nobuyuki Takemura,Fuyuki Inagaki,Fuminori Mihara,Yoshitaka Shida,Tsuyoshi Tajima,Norihiro Kokudo +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the usefulness of multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) for diagnosing Celiac Stenosis (CAS) and associated collateral artery formation, and elucidating the effect of CAS on the numbers and diameters of the arteries within the mesopancreas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Primary sclerosing cholangitis as an intractable disease
TL;DR: Recent reports from Japan have presented with a higher recurrence rate of PSC after liver transplantation, suggesting the intractable nature of the disease even after the replacement of the entire affected organ.
Journal ArticleDOI
Demonstration of the common hepatic artery coursing in the lesser omentum by three-dimensional computed tomography.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental transcatheter hepatic subsegmentectomy using absolute ethanol in dogs.
Norihiro Kokudo,Yukihiro Nomura,Hiroto Koyama,Yumiko Otomo,Kazumasa Ohashi,Kensho Sanjo,Yasuo Idezuki +6 more
TL;DR: Although more studies need to be done to clearly establish its safety for cirrhotic patients with hepatoma, this technique may be an easier and less invasive substitute for operative hepatic subsegmentectomy.
