Antibacterial Effects of Flavonoids and Their Structure-Activity Relationship Study: A Comparative Interpretation
Nur Farisya Shamsudin,Qamar Uddin Ahmed,Syed Aamir Mahmood,Syed Adnan Ali Shah,Alfi Khatib,Sayeed Mukhtar,Meshari A. Alsharif,Humaira Parveen,Zainul Amiruddin Zakaria +8 more
TL;DR: The latest information on the antibacterial activity of flavonoids is summarized in this review, with particular attention to the structure–activity relationship of this broad class of natural compounds to discover safe and potent antibacterial agents as natural products.
Journal ArticleDOI
Flavonoids as Antidiabetic and Anti-Inflammatory Agents: A Review on Structural Activity Relationship-Based Studies and Meta-Analysis
Nur Farisya Shamsudin,Qamar Uddin Ahmed,Syed Aamir Mahmood,Syed Aizaz Ali Shah,Murni Nazira Sarian,Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Khattak,Alfi Khatib,Awis Sukarni Mohmad Sabere,Yusnaini Md Yusoff,Jalifah Latip +9 more
TL;DR: The main aim of this review is to understand the antidiabetic and anti-inflammatory properties of various structurally diverse flavonoids and to identify key positions responsible for the effects, their correlation, and the effect of different substitutions on both antidi diabetic andAnti- inflammatory properties.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of Novel 5-Lipoxygenase-Activating Protein (FLAP) Inhibitors by an Integrated Method of Pharmacophore Virtual Screening, Docking, QSAR and ADMET Analyses
Kamal Rullah,M. S. I. Roney,Zali Ibrahim,Nur Farisya Shamsudin,Deri Islami,Qamar Uddin Ahmed,Lam Kok Wai,Mohd Fadhlizil Fasihi Mohd Aluwi +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a ligand-based alignment three-dimensional (3D)-quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) was adopted, resulting in a robust model with a statistically significant non-cross-validated coefficient ([Formula: see text]), a crossvalidated correlation coefficient and a predictive squared correlation coefficient.
