TL;DR: In this article, the partial rate factors for the homolytic arylation of substituted benzenes by substituted phenylradicals generated from p -substituted N-nitrosoacetanilides are presented, and the influence of a substituent is shown to be attributable to the inductive and the conjugative effect respectively.

Reduction of diazonium salts with silyl and stannyl hydrides

TL;DR: In this paper, the diazonium group was removed by silyl or stannyl hydrides in ethers and acetonitrile to give the corresponding arenes with elimination of the D-group, thus providing a new route for replacement by hydrogen of the amino group attached to an aromatic nucleus.
