Some remarks on integration procedures for a viscoplastic constitutive law

TL;DR: In this paper, a set of constitutive relations is presented to describe the inelastic behavior of austenitic stainless steels at finite strains and temperatures up to 600°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Some remarks on rate-sensitivity of niti shape memory alloys

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel device based on inductive transducers was developed to measure and control axial and torsional strains within a well defined gage section of a tubular specimen.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comments on objective rates of 2nd order, symmetric Eulerian tensors

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the objective rates of symmetric second order Eulerian tensors should be corotational when one restricts to a single Euclidean vector space, and that when we equalize the objective strain rate and the deformation rate, only the Hencky strain is a mathematically consistent strain measure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Numerical analysis of finite hypo-elastic cyclic deformation with large rotations

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of the logarithmic rate implementation into the hypo-elastic constitutive relations for the case of pure elastic deformation describe a physically stable process.
