Carrier-concentration-induced ferromagnetism in PbSnMnTe.

TL;DR: Mise en evidence de the nature paramagnetique du compose pour des concentrations de porteurs inferieures a 3•10 20 cm −3 and d'une transition brusque au ferromagnetisme, a basse temperature, pour des valeurs superieures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bound magnetic polaron interactions in insulating doped diluted magnetic semiconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed a model in which polarons interact via both the standard direct carrier-carrier exchange interaction (due to virtual carrier hopping) and an indirect carrier-ion carrier exchange interaction, and the optimal values of the model parameters were determined as a function of temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Negative absolute mobility of minority electrons in GaAs quantum wells.

TL;DR: Experimental results demonstrate that minority electrons in the semiconductor GaAs do exhibit negative absolute drift mobility at low temperatures and low electric fields, i.e., electrons drift from the positive towards the negative electrode, in />modulation-doped GaAs quantum wells at lattice temperatures up to Ti — 90 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Collective Modes of Photoexcited Electron-Hole Plasmas in GaAs

TL;DR: The light scattering spectra of photoexcited electron-hole plasmas in GaAs show features due to the multicomponent nature of the plasma, and also specific to the presence of holes as mentioned in this paper.
