Refractive Index Sensing With Mach–Zehnder Interferometer Based on Concatenating Two Single-Mode Fiber Tapers

TL;DR: In this paper, a fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer was realized by concatenating two singlemode fiber tapers separated by a middle section, which had a minimum insertion loss of 3 dB and maximum interferometric extinction ratio over 20 dB.

TL;DR: HystLab as mentioned in this paper is a MATLAB software package for analyzing hysteresis loop data, which is capable of reading a wide range of data formats that are generated by the multiple types of equipment typically used to measure hystresis loops and provides an easy-to-use interface allowing users to visualize their data and perform advanced processing, including loop centering, drift correction, linear and approach to saturation high-field slope corrections, as well as loop fitting.
