Magnetic field and stress Induced strain in CoNiAl Ferromagnetic Shapememory Alloy

TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic field induced strain and stress induced strain near the martensitic transformation temperature of the sample was measured at room temperature using NI 6210 data logger and four probe measurements were obtained using VSM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental and theoretical investigations of the stress-induced twinning/detwinning in the martensite phase of a FSMA system

TL;DR: In this article, a thermodynamic constitutive model based on Clausius-Duhem inequality was used to theoretically determine the stress resulting from an applied stress at each temperature, and the model was found to fit well with data in the premartensitic region too.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superconducting gap in Nb seen by point contact spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the nonlinear current voltage characteristics of a point contact convey information about various excitations in the metal and they have made a poin~ contact study on a superconductor to see the band gap and on a normal metal to see Ihe transport characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication and Magnetic Properties of CoNiAl Ferromagnetic Shape memory Alloy thin films

TL;DR: In this paper, the physical properties of CoNiAl alloys were investigated in thin film form by D.C. sputtering method on glass substrates under various conditions, and fine grained microstructure was found for all the deposited films.
