Using a chemical equilibrium analysis, we compute the multiplicities for light antinuclei produced in the break-up of the quark-gluon plasma at the confining phase transition point, and compare with the analogous numbers expected from a hot hadronic phase at the same point. In regions of large baryonic density we find very small multiplicities in both phases; in a quark-antiquark symmetric system antinuclei up to ¯α are predicted to be measurable and, depending on the nucleus chosen, a factor 5 to 40 more abundant in the quark-gluon plasma.
