The fluid flow through inclined plates has several applications in magneto-aerodynamics, materials processing and magnetohydrodynamic propulsion thermo-fluid dynamics. Inspired by these applications, the rate of entropy production in a bio-convective flow of a magnetohydrodynamic Williamson nanoliquid over an inclined convectively heated stretchy plate with the influence of thermal radiation, porous materials and chemical reaction has been deliberated in this paper. The presence of microorganisms aids in stabilizing the suspended nanoparticles through a bioconvection process. Also, the thermal radiation assumed an optically thick limit approximation. With the help of similarity transformations, the coupled partial differential equations are converted to nonlinear ordinary differential equations and the resulting model is numerically tackled using the shooting method. The influences of the determining thermo-physical parameters on the flow field are incorporated and extensively discussed. The major relevant outcomes of the present analysis are that the upsurge in values of Schmidt number decays the mass transfer characteristics, but the converse trend is depicted for boost up values of the thermophoresis parameter. Enhancement in bioconvection Peclet and Schmidt numbers deteriorates the microorganism density characteristics. Further, the upsurge in the Williamson parameter declines the Bejan number and irreversibility ratio.

The current article concerns with the flow of an incompressible dusty hybrid nanofluid over a stretching cylinder by considering Darcy–Forchheimer porous medium and viscous dissipation. Heat transfer and momentum behavior of water-based fluid with suspended nanoparticles (copper and Titania) is scrutinized in this study. The two-phase model which handles the particle phase and the fluid phase is accounted in this study. The modelled equations are reduced to a set of non-linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using suitable similarity variables. Later, these reduced equations are solved by adopting the Runge–Kutta Fehlberg-45(RKF-45) technique along with shooting scheme. The graphs are plotted to examine the impact of various dimensionless parameters on velocity and thermal profiles for both dust and fluid phases. For engineering apprehensions, the coefficient of skin friction and Nusselt number are also calculated and scrutinized through graphs. The outcomes reveal that, increase in mass concentration of particles improves the heat transfer but declines velocity gradient. The increase in velocity interaction parameter of the fluid reduces the velocity gradient of fluid phase but increases the velocity of the dust phase. Finally, increasing values of curvature parameter improves the velocity and temperature of both the phases.

An unsteady MHD flow of nonlinear radiative heat transfer of Casson liquid over a contract cylinder has been modeled. This is a theoretical study that involves mathematical approach to do the investigation. The nonlinear partial differential equations for heat transfer are solved numerically using the RKF-45 method. Effects of embedded kinetic parameters on the velocity and temperature of the system are depicted graphically and discussed accordingly. It is found that the rate of cooling is much faster for higher values of unsteadiness parameter. The higher value of unsteady parameter decreases the profiles of velocity and temperature. Further, thermal boundary layer thickness is decreased when the Prandtl number increases.

Convective heat transport in a heat generating MHD vertical layer saturated by a non-Newtonian nanofluid: a bidirectional study

A compact coupled band-pass frequency selective surface (FSS) for medical use is submitted in this paper. The ultrasonography uses a frequency of 3MHz and 5MHz for examination of abdominal part and neck part respectively. The presented model is simulated using CST MWS electromagnetic simulation software. Square loop structure is out forwarded. The current distribution for the two-resonance frequency is analysed well. Output is accurate enough for both transmission and reflection coefficient in both TE and TM mode. Angular stability up to 60° is achieved.
