Extending BPMN 2.0: Method and Tool Support
TL;DR: This work proposes a method based on Model-Driven Architecture for the development of extensions to the BPMN 2.0 metamodel that enables the conceptual modeling of extensions by using UML, their graphical representation in terms of the B PMN extension mechanism, and their transformation into XML Schema documents that can be processed by BPMn tools.
Journal ArticleDOI
Screening and characterization of amylase and cellulase activities in psychrotolerant yeasts.
Mario Carrasco,Pablo David Villarreal,Salvador Barahona,Jennifer Alcaíno,Víctor Cifuentes,Marcelo Baeza +5 more
TL;DR: Almost all yeast species showed extracellular amylase or cellulase activity, and an inducing effect by the respective substrate was observed in a minor number of yeasts, which are interesting candidates for industrial processes that require lower temperatures.
Proceedings Article
A BPMN 2.0 Extension to Define the Resource Perspective of Business Process Models.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tolerance to Ultraviolet Radiation of Psychrotolerant Yeasts and Analysis of Their Carotenoid, Mycosporine, and Ergosterol Content.
Pablo David Villarreal,Mario Carrasco,Salvador Barahona,Jennifer Alcaíno,Víctor Cifuentes,Marcelo Baeza +5 more
TL;DR: Although there was not a well-defined relation between UV-C tolerance and the production of these three kinds of compounds, the majority of the yeasts with lower amounts of carotenoids showed lower UV-D tolerance and therefore were good candidates for future studies intended to increase their production for large-scale applications.

Modeling and Specification of Collaborative Business Processes with a MDA Approach and a UML Profile
TL;DR: A UML profile is provided that extends the semantics of UML2 to support the analysis and design of collaborative processes and the generation of B2B specifications based on ebXML is described.
