Muzeji su neformalna okruženja za ucenje, u kojima je ucenje istinski motivirano i procesirano preko znatiželje, promatranja i raznih aktivnosti. Proces takva ucenja može biti drugaciji od procesa ucenja koje vežemo uz formalna okruženja. Posebna prilika koju muzeji nude jest eksperimentalna priroda ucenja koja se temelji na susretima sa stvarnim objektima. U neformalnim okruženjima kognitivno i afektivno ucenje su povezani i mogu se nadograditi. Cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti stavove studenata o ucenju u muzeju, njegovoj ucinkovitosti i pozitivnim konotacijama na odgoj i obrazovanje djece. Istraživan je utjecaj varijable spola na oblikovanje stavova. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 380 studenata, od toga 140 muskaraca i 240 žena. Studenti su visoko ocijenili znacaj takva nacina ucenja, smatraju ga ucinkovitim i potrebnim u odgoju i obrazovanju ucenika. Dobiveni rezultati trebali bi aktualizirati temu poticanja sveobuhvatnije suradnje muzeja i odgojno-obrazovnih ustanova.

Learning at the Museum

textIn the midst of the turbulence wrought by the global economy, it has become common to see projects as an essential medium for achieving change. However, project based learning practices - as a subset of organizational learning practices- have not kept pace with this development. To explore this concern, we have carried out a study on practices adopted by organizations for learning through projects involving nineteen companies from across Europe and from a range of different industries. We use the concepts of variation, selection and retention in organizational learning to analyze our findings and report the challenges faced by project based organizations in each of the areas highlighted. We conclude that time pressures, centralization and deferral are the key characteristics of learning in project based firms and that these impede project based members in learning from and through projects.

Quantity versus Quality in Project Based Learning Practices

Digital revolution has involved and changed many service industries and also retailing, renewing its inbound and outbound processes. The pervasiveness of the internet of things has boosted the rise and growth of digital platforms, exploiting consumers' potential in personalizing their shopping experience, according to their wants and needs. Digital platforms have triggered the transition from a traditional two-sided marketplace towards a dynamic and complex one. The smart mindset, which has pervaded retail service domain, is in line with the current service research, according to which the dematerialization of value exchanges implies a new approach to the traditional service delivery. Therefore, this chapter aims at investigating the way retailers manage digital tools. Embracing the framework of S-D logic, the analysis shapes the role that the digital technologies have in digital process reconfiguration as well as in the shaping of specific context or platform able to boost the emergence of retail service innovation. A multiple case study has been performed.

How Smartness Enables Value Co-Creation: An Explorative Study of Italian Fashion Retail.

Obiettivo . La ricerca analizza i nuovi modelli di relazione territorio-impresa-consumatore volti a migliorare la competitivita del territorio e delle imprese e il benessere del consumatore. In particolare e stata concentrata l’attenzione sulla proposta di esperienze al cliente-visitatore. Metodologia . Dopo un inquadramento teorico relativo ai recenti sviluppi della teoria esperienziale, si sono selezionati, seguendo un approccio di tipo induttivo, otto casi studio di imprese vitivinicole nella provincia di Verona. La raccolta delle informazioni e avvenuta tramite intervista in profondita Risultati . La ricerca consente di evidenziare le caratteristiche dell’offerta esperienziale proposta in termini di contenuti, originalita, motivazioni e vantaggi per l’impresa. Si sono messi in luce gli aspetti innovativi che animano la relazione con il consumatore-visitatore, mentre le relazioni con le altre imprese e il piu ampio sistema territoriale mostrano delle carenze a causa di una mancanza di spirito cooperativo e di fiducia reciproca. Limiti della ricerca . La ricerca rappresenta una prima esplorazione sull’economia delle esperienze applicata al settore vitivinicolo e si potrebbe intravvedere un futuro sviluppo nell’ampliamento del campione e nello studio di altri contesti territoriali. Implicazioni pratiche . Si presentano i percorsi esperienziali realizzati. Le principali leve di sviluppo sono state individuate nel ruolo delle risorse umane, negli investimenti materiali e immateriali, nell’analisi della domanda, nel processo di comunicazione e nel ruolo del territorio. Originalita del lavoro . Si forniscono nuovi elementi di valutazione per cogliere le sollecitazioni verso processi integrati di marketing territoriale.

Territorio, impresa e consumatore: percorsi esperienziali nelle imprese vitivinicole

SMEs Survival Research Project in Northern Italy

Purpose: This paper analyses the Last Minute Market (LMM) experience, an innovative service born in Italy as an academic spin-off in order to reduce the food waste problem at the local community level. Its main purpose is to discuss how distribution can work towards greater efficiency and to lower the costs associated with assortment management from the standpoint of sustainable local growth and solidarity. Methodology: The study is based on an inductive type of approach according to which, proposing LMM as a single case study, one may try to draw more general considerations. Findings: The paper highlights LMM as a completely new service model, that focuses on how to get the best out of waste rather than merely eliminating it. Through this new perspective, assortment management knowledge is enriched. As far as we know, LMM is the first meta-organization specially developed to connect both profit and no profit realms. LMM provides services aiming at the daily recovery at a local level of excess food and non-food in favor of agencies and associations that assist needy people. LMM may essentially be defined as a “gift broker”: it creates the necessary infrastructural conditions to make the transformation of waste into resources possible. The Last Minute Market Model: An Innovative Service of Efficient Assortment Management in a Sustainability Perspective

Purpose of the paper : The aim of this paper is to analyse the extent to which the uniquely successful TocatA¬ International Festival of Street Games, which has been promoted by the Associazione Giochi Antichi (Traditional Games Association) since 2003, can be considered an example of good practice for safeguarding an intangible cultural heritage, and the factors underlying its success. Methodology : The qualitative approach of this paper is based on a case study. The data were collected by conducting in-depth interviews of the organizers of the Tocati International Festival. Results : The results confirmed the working hypothesis and highlighted the determinants of the success of the Festival in safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage of traditional games. Limitations : The case analysis only considers the perspective of the promoter of the event. Future research should be extended it to include the perspectives of other stakeholders. Practical implications : Although the findings indicate that the event cannot be standardised or easily reproduced, they do identify a number of factors that can favour the success of a cultural festival. Originality of the paper : As there are no published models for evaluating cultural events as good practices, the findings of this study can contribute to the open debate on this topic.
