Journal ArticleDOI

Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles in aloe vera plant extract prepared by a hydrothermal method and their synergistic antibacterial activity

TL;DR: The results indicated that AgNPs@AV can be effectively utilized in pharmaceutical, biotechnological and biomedical applications and showed that the antibacterial effect of this hybrid nanomaterial was sufficient that it could be used to inhibit pathogenic bacteria.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rhinacanthin-C Extracted from Rhinacanthus nasutus (L.) Inhibits Cholangiocarcinoma Cell Migration and Invasion by Decreasing MMP-2, uPA, FAK and MAPK Pathways

TL;DR: The anti-metastatic effects of rhinacanthin-C on KKU-M156 cells are mediated via inhibition of the expression of invasion-regulated proteins, and may deserve consideration as a potential agent for the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antitumor effect of forbesione isolated from Garcinia hanburyi on cholangiocarcinoma in vitro and in vivo

TL;DR: It was observed that forbesione inhibited the growth of Ham-1 cells in vitro and suppressedHam-1 growth as allograft in hamsters by inducing cell cycle arrest at the S phase and forbesion is a potential drug candidate for cancer therapy that deserves further investigation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Benzoyltyramine Alkaloids Atalantums A-G from the Peels of Atalantia monophylla and Their Cytotoxicity against Cholangiocarcinoma Cell Lines.

TL;DR: Seven new benzoyltyramines, atalantums A-G (1-7), and five known compounds were isolated from the peels of Atalantia monophylla, and all compounds were examined for cytotoxicity against the cholangiocarcinoma cell lines.
