Identification of genetically and oceanographically distinct blooms of jellyfish
Patricia L. M. Lee,Patricia L. M. Lee,Michael N Dawson,Simon P. Neill,Peter E. Robins,Jonathan D. R. Houghton,Thomas K. Doyle,Graeme C. Hays,Graeme C. Hays +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used landscape genetics and Lagrangian modelling of oceanographic dispersal to explore patterns of connectivity in the scyphozoan jellyfish Rhizostoma octopus, which occurs en masse at locations in the Irish Sea and northeastern Atlantic.

Identification of genetically and oceanographically distinct blooms of jellyfish - DUPE OF DU:30098064
Patricia L. M. Lee,Michael N Dawson,Simon P. Neill,Peter E. Robins,Jonathan D. R. Houghton,Thomas K. Doyle,Graeme C. Hays +6 more
TL;DR: This work used landscape genetics and Lagrangian modelling of oceanographic dispersal to explore patterns of connectivity in the scyphozoan jellyfish Rhizostoma octopus, which occurs en masse at locations in the Irish Sea and northeastern Atlantic.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reciprocal Natural Selection on Host‐Parasite Phenotypes
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that preening with a normal bill selects for small body size in lice, which may facilitate their escape from preening, which is a crucial element of coevolutionary theory.
Journal ArticleDOI
68Ga-DOTATATE Compared with 111In-DTPA-Octreotide and Conventional Imaging for Pulmonary and Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Stephen A. Deppen,Jeffrey D. Blume,Adam J Bobbey,Chirayu Shah,Michael M. Graham,Patricia L. M. Lee,Dominique Delbeke,Ronald C. Walker +7 more
TL;DR: A systematic review of 68Ga-DOTATATE for safety and efficacy compared with octreotide and conventional imaging to determine whether available evidence supports U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polyandry in a marine turtle: females make the best of a bad job.
TL;DR: In this study, the environment played a far stronger role in determining the success of clutches than whether paternity had been single or multiple, and contrary to the wide-spread assumption that multiple mating by female marine turtles confers fitness benefits, none were apparent.
