Schedules Optimization with the Use of Value Engineering and NPV Maximization
TL;DR: The presented proprietary approach to optimize the construction schedule taking into account the economic and sustainability of a construction project can be used in “design and build” projects, with particular emphasis on projects managed in the sustainable Project Management system.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cash-Flow Schedules Optimization within Life Cycle Costing (LCC)
TL;DR: ESORD (an IT tool that allows you to compare different types of solutions based on mathematical calculations) with the Monte Carlo method is combined to help the investor to optimize their cash-flow schedule.
Journal ArticleDOI
Utilization of Eddy Current Tomography in Automotive Industry
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented an innovative setup for eddy current tomography and possibility of its utilization in automotive industry, which was designed for testing axisymmetric objects thus motor valve was selected for exemplary testing.
Book ChapterDOI
The Use of Remote Ground Sensing Data for Assessment of Environmental and Crop Condition of the Reclaimed Land
TL;DR: To solve the problems of environmental and crop monitoring, a Landsat remote sensing system is proposed, endowed with high spatial resolution of satellite images and the presence of spectral channels capturing the spectral characteristics of the studied objects in the visible and infrared spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental Verification of Isotropic and Anisotropic Anhysteretic Magnetization Models
TL;DR: The validation of four anhysteretic curve models considering four different materials, including isotropic, such as Mn-Zn soft ferrite, as well as anisotropic amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys, indicate that only the model that considers an isotropic energy is valid for a wide set of modern magnetic materials.
