Journal ArticleDOI

Recent advances in transition metal-catalyzed olefinic C–H functionalization

TL;DR: The metal-catalyzed directed C-H activation has emerged as an increasingly powerful tool for the synthesis of important organic building blocks, organic materials, and natural products as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iodonium Ylides as Carbene Precursors in Rh(III)-Catalyzed C-H Activation.

TL;DR: The rhodium(III)-catalyzed coupling of C-H substrates with iodonium ylides has been realized for the efficient synthesis of diverse cyclic skeletons, where the iodOnium y lides have been identified as efficient and outstanding carbene precursors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rh(III)-Catalyzed Coupling of Acrylic Acids and Ynenones via Olefinic C–H Activation and Michael Addition

TL;DR: Rh(III)-catalyzed coupling between acrylic acids and yndienones has been realized for the synthesis of cis-hydrobenzofuranone and products were found to exhibit cytotoxicity toward the A549 cancer cell line at micromolar levels.
