Design of Au@WO3 core−shell structured nanospheres for ppb-level NO2 sensing

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel structure of Au@WO3 core-shell nanospheres (CSNSs) was designed and successfully prepared for NO2 detection, and the results demonstrated that Au nanoparticles with 25-50nm in diameter were successfully encapsulated by WO3 shells with the thickness of 30-50 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complex-surfactant-assisted hydrothermal synthesis of one-dimensional ZnO nanorods for high-performance ethanol gas sensor

TL;DR: One-dimensional (1D) ZnO nanorods were synthesized by a facile and effective hydrothermal method using the mixture of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG400) with a molar ratio of 1:1 as the complex surfactant as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

NO2 sensing properties of one-pot-synthesized ZnO nanowires with Pd functionalization

TL;DR: In this article, a low-temperature and high-performance NO2 sensor based on Pd-functionalized ZnO nanowires (Pd-ZNWs) prepared by a facile one-pot hydrothermal method was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication, characterization and n-propanol sensing properties of perovskite-type ZnSnO3 nanospheres based gas sensor

TL;DR: ZnSnO3 nanospheres assembled by numerous thin triangular nanosheets were successfully synthesized by a facile co-precipitation method as mentioned in this paper, and the structure and morphology of ZnsnO3 were characterized by means of SEM, XRD, TEM and XPS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bimetallic Au/Pd nanoparticles decorated ZnO nanowires for NO2 detection

TL;DR: In this article, the bimetallic Au/Pd-NPs decorated ZnO nanowires (ZNWs) were fabricated to study their NO2 sensing performance through comparing with their counterparts of pristine ZNWs, and mono Au- or Pd-nop-decorated ZNOWs.
