Filtered viscous fluid equations

TL;DR: In this paper, an Eulerian-Lagrangian description of filtered incompressible fluid equations is presented, and a viscous Cauchy formula is derived for such equations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Singularities in complex interfaces

TL;DR: In this paper, an equation describing the motion of the material interface between two fluids in a pressure field is analyzed, where the interface can be expressed as the image of the unit circle under a certain time depending conformal map.

Global regularity for 2D Muskat equations with finite slope

TL;DR: In this paper, the 2D Muskat equation for the interface between two constant density fluids in an incompressible porous medium, with velocity given by Darcy's law, is considered and it is shown that as long as the slope of the interface remains bounded and uniformly continuous, the solution remains regular.

Some Mathematical Problems of Fluid Mechanics

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe results concerning incompressible fluids at high Reynolds numbers (i.e., everyday fluid turbulence) and address integrals of quantities associated with the flow and formation of large gradients.
