Journal ArticleDOI
ANP32 Proteins Are Essential for Influenza Virus Replication in Human Cells.
Ecco Staller,Carol Sheppard,Peter J. Neasham,Bhakti Mistry,Thomas P. Peacock,Daniel H. Goldhill,Jason S. Long,Wendy S. Barclay +7 more
TL;DR: The approach has identified a pair of essential host factors for influenza virus replication and can be harnessed to inform future interventions.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Novel Neuraminidase Virus-Like Particle Vaccine Offers Protection Against Heterologous H3N2 Influenza Virus Infection in the Porcine Model
Vasilis C. Pliasas,Zach Menne,Virginia Aida,Jianqi Yin,Maria C. Naskou,Peter J. Neasham,J. F. North,D. Wilson,Katharine A. Horzmann,Joshy Jacob,Ioanna Skountzou,C. S. Kyriakis +11 more
TL;DR: Evaluated immunogenicity and efficacy against challenge of a novel NA virus-like particles (VLPs) vaccine in the porcine model suggest that anti-NA immunity following NA2 VLP vaccination offers comparable protection to QWIV swine IAV vaccines inducing primarily anti-HA responses.
