Journal ArticleDOI

Rare earth element fractionation in metamorphogenic hydrothermal calcite, magnesite and siderite

TL;DR: Normalized REE patterns of aqueous solutions and their precipitates bear information on the physico-chemical environments a fluid experienced during REE mobilization, fluid migration and minerogenesis as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Yttrium and lanthanides in eastern Mediterranean seawater and their fractionation during redox-cycling

TL;DR: In this article, concentrations of dissolved Y and rare-earth elements (REE) are reported for oxic eastern Mediterranean seawater from the western Levantine Basin, and for anoxic hypersaline brine and overlying oxic seawater in the Tyro sub-basin, the latter data allowing a comparative study of Y and REE behaviours during redox-cycling.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rare-earth patterns with positive cerium anomaly in alkaline waters from Lake Van, Turkey

TL;DR: In this article, the distribution of rare-earth elements has been studied for aerobic, alkaline (pH 9.6) and carbonate-rich waters from Lake Van, Turkey.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anthropogenic gadolinium as a conservative tracer in hydrology

TL;DR: The gadopentetic acid (Gd-DTPA) was used as a contrast medium in magnetic resonance imaging to measure the stability of surface water and groundwaters of industrialised and highly populated areas as mentioned in this paper.
