Abstract: Ternary complex borides of formulaMM′B4 have been prepared within the systems U-{V, Cr, Mo, W, Mn, Re, Fe, Co}-B. The phases U(Mo, W, Re)B4 are isotypic with ThMoB4-type structure; U(V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co)B4 crystallize with YCrB4-type structure.
