Abstract: A transmission includes an electric motor arranged between a drive shaft connection area and an output shaft connection area. The electric motor encloses a cylindrical volume. A first group of shifting elements is arranged adjacent to and axially along a drive shaft in the direction of the drive shaft connection area offset to the electric motor or is at least partially arranged within the cylindrical volume of the electric motor. Shift forks of the first group of shifting element actuators are arranged adjacent to and axially along the drive shaft in the direction of the drive shaft connection area offset to the first group of shifting elements. A main gear set is arranged at least partially within the cylindrical volume of the electric motor or adjacent to axially along the drive shaft in the direction of the output shaft connection area offset to the electric motor.

Abstract: The invention relates to a transmission (G) for a motor vehicle, comprising a drive shaft (GW1), an output shaft (GW2), an interface (IF) leading to a transmission-external drive unit, a plurality of switching elements (A - E; A2 bis E2), a plurality of planetary gear sets (PS, PV; P1, P2, P3), and an electric motor (EM) with a stationary stator (S) and a rotatable rotor (R), said electric motor (EM) being arranged on an the axial end of the transmission (G) which is opposite the interface (IF). Different transmission ratios between the drive shaft (GW1) and the output shaft (GW2) can be established using the planetary gear sets (PS, PV; P1, P2, P3) by selectively closing the switching elements (A - E; A2 - E2), and the switching elements (A - E, A2 - E2) comprise at least one first switching element (C, A2) designed as a brake, said first switching element (C, A2) being arranged in the axial direction next to at least one of the elements; the stator (S), rotor (R) and electric motor (EM). The first switching element is also arranged axially between the interface (GW2-A) of the output shaft (GW2) and the electric motor (EM). The invention also relates to a drive train for a motor vehicle comprising said type of transmission (G).

Abstract: A shifting device includes a first shifting element operable to establish a torque-proof, positive-locking connection between a first element and a second element. A second shifting element is operable to establish a torque-proof, positive-locking connection between the second element and a third element. The first element is coupled to the third element such that displacement of the first element by a common actuating element in one of a first and a second displacement direction provides rectified displacement of the third element. The third element is coupled to the first element such that displacement of the third element by the common actuating element in one of the first and second displacement directions provides rectified displacement of the first element. The second element is fixed in position in both the first and second displacement directions. A related transmission is also provided.
