Neutrino Masses and Oscillations: Triumphs and Challenges

TL;DR: The recent progress in establishing the existence of finite neutrino masses and mixing between generations of neutrinos has been remarkable, if not astounding as mentioned in this paper, and a review of the status of experimental and theoretical work in this field can be found in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isotope shifts and zero-point motion of the nuclear surface

TL;DR: In this article, a simple procedure for correcting Hartree-Fock mean square radii for the effect of zero-point motion of the nuclear surface is proposed, and the procedure has been applied to the calculation of the isotope shifts for even-even nuclei at the onset of deformation in the rare earth region.
