Journal ArticleDOI

Lipid Nanoparticles for Delivery of Therapeutic RNA Oligonucleotides.

TL;DR: Current delivery methods for RNA gene therapeutics based on lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and the clinical appeal of recent RNA NPs are introduced and existing challenges of fabrication and screening LNP candidates for effective translation into drugs of human metabolic diseases and cancer are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Current Status and Future Perspectives on MRNA Drug Manufacturing

TL;DR: Trends in the publication records and clinical trial registrations are tallied to show the sharp intensification in preclinical and clinical research for RNA medicines, and a vision is rationalized for how emerging technologies such as self-amplifying mRNA, microfluidic production, and trends toward integrated and distributed manufacturing will shape the future of RNA manufacturing and unlock the potential for an RNA medicine revolution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interspecies comparative morphological evaluation of the corneal epithelial stem cell niche: a pilot observational study

TL;DR: Significant morphological differences in the corneal and limbal epithelia and their underlying stroma between species were observed and there may be a relationship between limbal stem cell melanin capping as a protective mechanism against ultra-violet radiation.
