Journal ArticleDOI
Phase transitions, optical and electronic properties of the layered perovskite hybrid [NH3(CH2)2COOH ]2CdCl4 of Y-aminobutyric acid (GABA)
Mohammed B. Alshammari,Abdellah Kaiba,Philippe Guionneau,Mohammed H. Geesi,Talal A. Aljohani,Yassine Riadi +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new organic-inorganic hybrid with the formula (NH 3 C 3 H 6 CO 2 H) 2 CdCl 4 has been crystallized and investigated by X-ray diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Towards synergy between spin-crossover and metal–ligand bond break in molecular crystals: structural investigations of eight seven-coordinated Fe(II) macrocyclic complexes
Hongfeng Wang,Hongfeng Wang,Arnaud Grosjean,Chiara Sinito,Chiara Sinito,Abdellah Kaiba,Chérif Baldé,Cédric Desplanches,Jean-François Létard,Philippe Guionneau +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structural properties of eight analogical Fe(II) macrocyclic complexes have been investigated exhibiting distinguishable structural properties even though no spin-crossover is observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural Aspects of Spin Crossover — Example of the [FeIILn(NCS)2] Complexes
TL;DR: In this paper, structural modifications due to spin crossover are first estimated, these include the expansion and the distortion of the FeN 6 octahedron, the isotropic and the anisotropic changes of the unit cell.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel charge transfer salts of BEDT-TTF with metal oxalate counterions
Samina Rashid,Scott S. Turner,Peter Day,Mark E. Light,Michael B. Hursthouse,Philippe Guionneau +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation, crystal structures and properties of three new BEDT-TTF, bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene, (ET for short), charge transfer salts beta " (ET)(4).
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystal structure, computational study, optical and vibrational properties of a new luminescent material based on bismuth(III): (C10H28N4)[Bi2Cl10]
TL;DR: In this paper, a new chlorobismuthate(III) hybrid compound with the chemical formula (C10H28N4)[Bi2Cl10], prepared at room temperature by the slow evaporation method, was investigated using Single Crystal X-ray diffraction, which gave an accurate crystal structure determination that allows searching the role played by intermolecular contacts in the self-assembly of the crystal structure using Hirshfeld surface analysis.
