Journal ArticleDOI

Study of the state of aluminium in zeolite-β

TL;DR: In this article, the modifications of the state of aluminium when introducing protons into zeolite-β have been investigated by combining several analytical techniques, and it was concluded that the octahedrally coordinated and NMR invisible aluminium must be regarded as inherent parts of the framework of the Zeolite and their formation is explained by a distortion of aluminic sites caused by the high electron affinity of the proton.
Book ChapterDOI

Synthesis of Zeolite Beta in Boron-Aluminium Media

TL;DR: In this article, non-linear effects of the B/Al ratio on the (B+Al)/Si ratio are observed, and the particle size is affected by the composition of the synthesis gel, the bigger crystals being formed from highly boric gels.
Book ChapterDOI

A microporous tetraethylammonium permutite as synthesis intermediate of the zeolite beta

TL;DR: Tetraethylammonium permutites are XRD-amorphous silico-aluminates metastable towards the formation of several zeolites as discussed by the authors, and they present a short-range organization around the organic agent, whose decomposition leaves a micropore system open.
