ProB: A model checker for B

Text classification is a process of classifying textual contents to a set of predefined classes and categories. As enormous numbers of documents and contextual contents are introduced every day on the Internet, it becomes essential to use text classification techniques for different purposes such as enhancing search retrieval and recommendation systems. A lot of work has been done to study different aspects of English text classification techniques. However, little attention has been devoted to study Arabic text classification due to the difficulty of processing Arabic language. Consequently, in this paper, we propose an enhanced Arabic topic-discovery architecture (EATA) that can use ontology to provide an effective Arabic topic classification mechanism. We have introduced a semantic enhancement model to improve Arabic text classification and the topic discovery technique by utilizing the rich semantic information in Arabic ontology. We rely in this study on the vector space model (term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF)) as well as the cosine similarity approach to classify new Arabic textual documents.

Semantic Ontology-Based Approach to Enhance Arabic Text Classification

Biometrics is the term for measuring human characteristics. If the term is divided into two parts, bio means life, and metric means measurement. The measurement of humans through different computational methods is performed to authorize a person. This measurement can be performed via a single biometric or by using a combination of different biometric traits. The combination of multiple biometrics is termed biometric fusion. It provides a reliable and secure authentication of a person at a higher accuracy. It has been introduced in the UIDIA framework in India (AADHAR: Association for Development and Health Action in Rural) and in different nations to figure out which biometric characteristics are suitable enough to authenticate the human identity. Fusion in biometric frameworks, especially FKP (finger–knuckle print) and iris, demonstrated to be a solid multimodal as a secure framework. The proposed approach demonstrates a proficient and strong multimodal biometric framework that utilizes FKP and iris as biometric modalities for authentication, utilizing scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) and speeded up robust features (SURF). Log Gabor wavelet is utilized to extricate the iris feature set. From the extracted region, features are computed using principal component analysis (PCA). Both biometric modalities, FKP and iris, are combined at the match score level. The matching is performed using a neuro-fuzzy neural network classifier. The execution and accuracy of the proposed framework are tested on the open database Poly-U, CASIA, and an accuracy of 99.68% is achieved. The accuracy is higher compared to a single biometric. The neuro-fuzzy approach is also tested in comparison to other classifiers, and the accuracy is 98%. Therefore, the fusion mechanism implemented using a neuro-fuzzy classifier provides the best accuracy compared to other classifiers. The framework is implemented in MATLAB 7.10.

Biometric authentication has been reported to be one of the most emerging research fields and its attainments are inseparable from the aid of a heterogeneity of single-modal and multi-modal biometric traits (e.g., fingerprint, hand geometry, iris, face, ear, gait, and so on). Normally, biometric traits are used as authentication information for the security system. Sometimes, the characteristics of biometric traits are difficult to acquire in an appropriate means, and it is essential to practice numerous pre-processing and post-processing algorithms to improve the feature of traits on the security system. In this case, this review paper presents a comprehensive overview of the biometric fusion system (BFS) with some pre-processing and post-processing approaches using the concept of artificial intelligence/machine learning techniques. In this regard, the following subject matters are discussed: 1. Biometric traits quality improvement techniques in the BFS. 2. Feature extraction and optimization approaches. 3. Analysis of classifiers to improve biometric fusion accuracy. 4. Existing challenges of BFS. Besides, a review of existing work based on their accuracy of classification is also discussed. The main aim of this survey is to make available a complete overview of BFS with the role of a different biometric trait in biometrics fusion.

Advancements in the electronic commerce industry have helped online travel services (OTA) in many ways. The paper examines the overall impact of traveller’s using online services and their sentiments derived from a collection of reviews for online travel service providers known as online travel agents (OTA) in India. Customer reviews from different identified sources are collected and the satisfaction of travellers using various online travel services is analyzed using netnographic analysis and text mining. This paper also covers a detailed process of data collection, analysis using netnography and text mining methods which helps us for the analysis and deriving sentiments from collected reviews. Various results obtained are presented as part of token lists, keyword analysis, and service-specific analysis. The statistical analysis of different results is tested to understand the relationship between various services and OTA.

Netnography and Text Mining to Understand Perceptions of Indian Travellers using Online Travel Services

This paper aims to explain and elaborate integration of two words netnography and mining. Netnography has been accepted and used as universal tool for performing online ethnography in various fields. This paper also focuses on the relevance of text mining in consumer research and how it is used to analyze consumer opinions on online travel related services using text mining tool named RapidMiner. The results obtained offers clear understanding of key terms and tokens which help us identify various words explaining satisfaction of travelers through the use of text based mining along with travel ratings collected via reviews and referral site, and social media platforms in India.

Text Mining to Understand Major Keywords Explaining Sentiments of Travelers Using Travel Related Online Services in India

This article investigates a novel mechanism of atomic broadcast in distributed systems. Various mechanisms are already given for moving sequencer based atomic broadcast like RMP [1], DTP [2] and Pin Wheel [3]. Since all these mechanisms are built on broadcast broadcast (BB) variant [4] of fixed sequencer atomic broadcast hence introduce a very large number of messages [4]. Here we propose a novel mechanism that works on unicast broadcast (UB) invariant of fixed sequencer atomic broadcast in order to build moving sequencer atomic broadcast. The proposed mechanism relies on unicast broadcast hence it will introduce a very less number of messages in comparison to previous mechanisms [4]. Along with broadcast any process may get crash any time. Hence, system must be so efficient such that it can tolerate such crashes and maintains normal behavior so that reliability of system will be maintained. The proposed work will tolerate any crash failure of processes in system and reduce the load on sequencer (by providing an opportunity to each process to be a sequencer). We have used B [5] as formal technique for development of our model. B uses set theory as a modeling notation, refinements to represent system at different abstraction level. We have used Pro B [19] model checker and animator for constraint based checking, discover errors due to invariant violation and deadlocks, thereby, validating the specifications. We present an abstract model specifying atomic broadcast with a fixed sequencer and introducing moving sequencer in first refined version then introduction of crash tolerance in second refined version.

Rigorous design of moving sequencer crash tolerant atomic broadcast with unicast broadcast

This article investigates a new mechanism to design moving sequencer based atomic broadcast in distributed systems. There are two very crucial observations have been drawn from [1], (i) fixed sequencer based atomic broadcast mechanisms are build upon either unicast broadcast (UB) or broadcast broadcast (BB) or unicast unicast broadcast (UUB) variant and (ii) moving sequencer based atomic broadcast can also be designed with the help of any of three variants (UB, BB or UUB). The various mechanisms given for moving sequencer based atomic broadcast like RMP [2], DTP [3] and Pin Wheel [4] are based on broadcast broadcast (BB) variant of fixed sequencer atomic broadcast. While mechanism proposed in [5] is based on unicast broadcast (UB) variant of fixed sequencer atomic broadcast. This work proposes a mechanism that relies on unicast unicast broadcast (UUB) variant of fixed sequencer atomic broadcast in order to build moving sequencer atomic broadcast. This work does not give any comparison with other mechanisms but it presents a new way to design moving sequencer atomic broadcast. B formal method [6] has been used to design different models for atomic broadcast and ProB [7] model animator and checker tool has been used to verify it.
