Assessment of methods of marking LED sources with the power of equivalent light bulb

TL;DR: In this paper, the assessment of marking LED sources with the power of an equivalent light bulb was studied both on the basis of calculations and measurements performed, and the results indicated that for only 4 from among the 13 LED sources studied, the given value of the power may be recognized as in accordance with the actual state of affairs and still with a reservation that specified ambient temperature shall be required.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of a Light Source Installed in a Luminaire of Opal Sphere Type on the Effect of Light Pollution

Przemyslaw Tabaka, +1 more
- 08 Jan 2020 -
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of a light source installed in a luminaire of opal sphere type on the light pollution effect of the night sky was investigated. And the results of the studies concerning the effect of light sources installed in luminaires were presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative analysis of breakdown spectra registered using optical spectrometry technique in biodegradable ester liquids and mineral oil

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of optical spectrometry based measurements performed in three commercial dielectric liquids: synthetic ester, natural ester and mineral oil are presented, concerning the breakdown initiated by standard lightning impulse voltage of positive polarity in a point-plane electrode system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of Replacement of Sodium Lamps in Park Luminaires with LED Sources of Different Closest Color Temperature on the Effect of Light Pollution and Energy Efficiency

- 06 Oct 2021 -
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of replacing classic sodium lamps with LED sources on the effect of light pollution and energy efficiency was analyzed using nine typical park luminaires, using data, such as a photometric solid and a relative spectral distribution, simulation calculations were carried out in DIALux software and their own calculation tool to consider this issue.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Landscape lighting as a source of light pollution - the effect of the seasons on this phenomenon

TL;DR: In this article, the analysis of factors describing the amount of light pollution in the park alleys was carried out and the model of park path, with trees, shrubs, benches and grassy paths, illuminated by typical lighting luminaires, used in such applications, was done by professional lighting design software.
