Effect of gold nano-particle layers on ablative acceleration of plastic foil targets
L. J. Dhareshwar,N. K. Gupta,Shivanand Chaurasia,Pushan Ayyub,Nilesh Kulkarni,J. Badziak,T. Pisarczyk,A. Kasperczuk,Piotr Parys,Marcin Rosinski,Jerzy Wolowski,E. Krousky,Josef Krasa,Karel Masek,Miroslav Pfeifer,Jiri Skala,Jiri Ullschmied,Andriy Velyhan,Daniele Margarone,A. M. Mezzasalma,P. Pisarczyk +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of experiments performed with PALS laser system (125 J, ~250 ps at 1.3?m) with a focused intensity of about 1014 W/cm2 are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Local structure, composition, and crystallization mechanism of a model two-phase "composite nanoglass".
Soma Chattopadhyay,Shelly D. Kelly,Tomohiro Shibata,M. Balasubramanian,Srivilliputhur G. Srinivasan,Jincheng Du,Rajarshi Banerjee,Pushan Ayyub +7 more
TL;DR: This study reports the first experimental indication that metallic glass formation may occur due to frustration arising from the competition between chemical ordering and clustering, and indicates that these nanoscale phase-separated glasses are quite distinct from the single phase nanoglasses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Superconductivity in TmBa2Cu3O9-x
Pushan Ayyub,Sundaram Balasubramanian,Prasenjit Guptasarma,A. K. Rajarajan,V Manivannan,L. C. Gupta,Manu Multani,R. Vijayaraghavan +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, superconductivity has been observed in a Tm-Ba-Cu-O system with Tc=89 K. Magnetisation measurements indicated that at least 8% of the sample was superconducting.
Journal ArticleDOI
ANOMALOUS BEHAVIOR IN HIGH-Tc SUPERCONDUCTORS BASED ON YBa2Cu3O7–y
A. K. Rajarajan,Prasenjit Guptasarma,V. R. Palkar,Pushan Ayyub,L. C. Gupta,R. Vijayaraghavan,Manu Multani +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, anomalous superconducting fluctuations in (RE)Ba2Cu3O7−y and associated systems were observed and a reproducible magnetic response was observed just above the onset of superconductivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ferroelectric phase transition in amorphous Pb(Zr0.51Ti0.49)O3
TL;DR: In this article, the dielectric behavior of amorphous microparticle Pb(Zr 0.51 Ti 0.49 )O 3 has been studied and it has been interpreted in terms of the ferroelectric glass model described by lines.
