In this paper, we tackled the robust quantized proximity control problem for spacecraft with uncertain system parameters, external disturbances and safety constraint. As a stepping stone, a nonconvex forbidden zone composed of a cylinder and an ellipsoid is established around the target spacecraft. Then, a novel repulsive potential function is employed to encode the collision-avoidance requirement. Furthermore, an adaptive safety controller is proposed for spacecraft rendezvous and docking by combining the artificial potential function with sliding mode methodology. Within the Lyapunov framework, rigorous stability analysis indicates that the presented controller guarantees the ultimate boundedness of all system signals, whilst providing a real-time safety trajectory for the chaser spacecraft. Finally, simulation results validates the theoretical analysis.

Robust adaptive control for spacecraft final proximity maneuvers with safety constraint and input quantization.

In this paper, we consider the robust finite-time consensus problem for second-order multi-agent systems (MASs) with limited sensing range and weak communication ability. As a stepping stone, a novel distributed finite-time sliding mode manifold is developed for MASs. Then, by combining artificial potential function technique with the presented sliding mode manifold, a robust distributed control scheme is proposed to enable the finite-time consensus of MASs while preserving the prescribed communication connectivity. Furthermore, the sampling frequency and implementation burden of the proposed controller can be reduced with resort to the event-triggered methodology. Finally, numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Distributed event-triggered adaptive finite-time consensus control for second-order multi-agent systems with connectivity preservation

In this paper, the robust event-triggered attitude control problem for rigid spacecraft with guaranteed transient and steady-state performance in the presence of external disturbances, unknown inertia parameters, and input saturation is investigated. First, using the prescribed performance control theory, a novel fixed-time polynomial function is designed to impose desired performance. Then, by integrating the radial basis function neutral network approximation technique into the backstepping control framework, an event-triggered neuroadaptive saturated control law is proposed. With the Lyapunov framework, it is proved that the proposed control law ensures the satisfaction of the prespecified performance, and the ultimate boundedness of all closed-loop signals. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
